We Can’t Do This Without You
We are a proud local organization, guided by the support of the national BBBSA, though we operate independently and do not receive direct funding from them.
Choose how to make a gift today that resonates with your heart and reflects your values.
Monthy Giving
Join our community of monthly Donors. Two out of three young people will experience a period of time when they want a mentor but don't have one. This cause is personal to all of us.
Give monthly and join our Leadership Circle As a member of our Leadership Circle, your reoccurring gift is an investment in our mission to sustain and expand mentoring as part of our collective community. Your ongoing support gives us the resources and financial stability to respond to immediate needs and opportunities, like the many youth on our wait list. These amounts are charged automatically to your credit card. As a monthly donor, you will receive recognition in our annual report and discounts to our special events.
Give Today
Join our mission is to create and support mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth in our Indiana and Kentucky counties.
Leave a Legacy
Leave a lasting legacy that will change young lives today and well into the future.
Wills and Trusts Plan a gift for tomorrow that won’t cost you today. When you create a gift in your will for BBBSSCI, you join others who have chosen to build a legacy of hope and potential. As a thank you for being a friend of ours, FreeWill is delighted to help you create your legal will. It’s 100% free to you, and most people finish in 20 minutes or less.
Beneficiary Designations If you have a retirement plan such as an IRA or a 401(k), the individual beneficiaries of the plan will pay income tax when they eventually receive it. Instead, consider naming us as the beneficiary of some or all of it. Because charities don’t pay income tax, the full amount of the retirement account will directly benefit BBBSSCI. Assets you pass on outside of your will are called non-probate assets. They include lRAs, 401(k)s, pensions, life insurance policies, and certain bank and brokerage accounts. If beneficiaries are properly set for these non-probate assets, ownership can transfer faster than your assets that must go through probate. Thanks to FreeWill, you can easily plan beneficiaries for your non-probate assets in one place.

Your support has a BIG impact
With so many reasons and ways to give, please make a gift today in a way that is meaningful for you.

Big Futures
$2,500
Big Futures supports matches around the three “E’s” – Education, Employment or Enlistment, and serves as a resource for youth wanting to attend college, enter the workforce or enlist in military service after high school.

New Experiences
$500
Although we are unable to require our volunteer mentors to cover the expenses for these activities, we are optimistic that our supporters will step up to help. Your gift can assist in funding organized events and outings such as nature excursions, attending major sporting events, theater and musical performances, fishing and boating trips, visits to zoos, aquariums, and adventure parks, and more. These experiences promote positive connections and emotions like happiness, friendship, curiosity, skill-building, and dedicated, special time just for them...exposing them to a world beyond their usual surroundings.

Child Safety
$100
We have designed our child protection systems in collaboration with experts including the Centers for Disease Control, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, and the Nonprofit Risk Management Center, and includes FBI fingerprinting for all staff and volunteers. You gift can support the thorough screening and background checks of our volunteers and staff.

Social & Emotional Well-Being
$1,000
Your gift can increase mental health awareness, training, and individual and group activities that address common stressors such as pressure to achieve academically, bullying, family issues, like parents who are unsupportive or financially unstable, packed school and social calendars, overexposure to social media, poor sleep habits, unhealthy food choices, romantic relationships, and use (and misuse) of substances

Family & Community Engagement
$250
Parental and family involvement in mentoring programs is associated with more positive youth outcomes. (if we can, include model to right) Your gift can support instrumental, informational, and relational curriculum and activities for parents, siblings, and mentors, as well as waitlist kids.

General Support
$50
When donors give general operating support, they help sustain our mission rather than specific projects. We use these types of gifts to support our most immediate needs.
